How to generate a QR code

Pick what you're encoding
URL is the most common — paste a link and you're done. Wi-Fi is the most useful for guests: enter your network name, password, and security type, and anyone who scans it connects automatically.

For URLs, just paste the link. For email, you can pre-fill the subject and body. For Wi-Fi, enter the SSID and password exactly as they appear in your router settings.

Adjust if needed
The default settings work for most uses. If you're printing large (poster, banner), bump the error correction to H — it lets the code scan even if part of it gets damaged or covered.

Error correction lets a QR code scan even if part of it is damaged or obscured. L (7%) is fine for clean digital screens. M (15%) is the safe default for most print uses. Use Q or H (25–30%) for anything that might get dirty, worn, or partially covered — like outdoor signage or product packaging.
